International Student from across the world choose Canada for studies and contribute to significant economic benefit. Due to Covid-19, every one for everything has been impacted and International students as well are not left untouched with it.  Majority of Education institutions has moved their study structure from offline to online in order to reduce the impact for current and upcoming session.

Post-graduation work permit duration generally depend on the time spent on studies inside Canada but now as per Government of Canada instructions; due to Covid-19 travel restrictions in place there PGWP eligibility will not be impacted if, there courses will be online due to Covid-19 for Fall 2020.

Secondly, students can complete their studies up to 50 percent outside Canada if they can’t travel sooner.

Add to that, they will not have time deducted from the length of a future post-graduation work permit for studies completed outside of Canada, up to December 31, 2020.
